Payday

Today was a fun mommy day. Both kids were pretty good all day and we had a fun time playing together. The cutest thing happened when I was doing dishes. I heard Seth singing the happy birthday song and went to see and he was standing by my Yankee candle singing and then blew on the candle. It was so cute and wow so exciting speech and development wise! My grandpa called it payday and that is so true. Mommy paydays are pretty great. :) Those moments really bring me joy.

Today was Seth's last day at Mariposa for their school year. The next school year starts on July 11th so he gets 2 weeks of "summer" break. He still has his other therapies and preschool but it will give us some time to do some fun things like going to the zoo. Seth had a better day at preschool today( on Friday he had a lot of trouble with taking toys and kissing kids). He likes preschool and is always happy to go. Katelin had fun at YMCA while mommy worked out. It is always such a great feeling when working out.

Update

I am going to make another attempt at blogging. Life is so busy but I am going to try to update this blog regularly. I will give a brief update on what we are doing right now.

Stuart will be starting his third and final year at Duke Law School in August. He loves law school and learning the law. He is enjoying his summer internship and I love hearing all about his day and his many experiences.

I am a busy mommy. Seth and Katelin are busy toddlers. Our little Seth was diagnosed with autism and is a busy boy with his many therapies. I am working hard to help him learn to speak and interact with people. He is such a hard working little boy and I am always so amazed at the strength that he has and despite all of his hard work he is so happy and loving.

Katelin is a busy 2 year old who is so fun and is growing so fast. She loves cars, puzzles, blocks, and stuffed animals. She also loves to have mommy read stories to her.
